Today I attended the Maine Marathon. The proceeds for this event went to Strive a group giving support to young adults 11-24 with disabilities. Also attending was several organizations that participate each year to raise money for their causes, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training , the Center for Grieving Children and the Maine Children’s Cancer Program . Competitors ran most of the day weather which ran from a light mist to heavy rain. Given the alternative high humidity and high temperatures they were fortunate. Here is one shot I got at the event.
