A Foggy Day

A Foggy Day in Phippsburg

When the coast of Maine gets socked in with fog it takes on a special charm.  I like the stillness interrupted only the lapping of the waves on the shore and the sound of a distant fog horn or gull.  The colors seem more vibrant not having to compete with the sun.

  1. Fog is almost like a comforting blanket…unless, I suppose, you are on a ship on the ocean. I certainly like it unless I’m traveling down a road and can’t tell what’s ahead of me. Your photos do exude a charming mood.
