A return to one of my favorite spots. Acadia National Park Maine. We got there just in time for the tide to turn but not enough time to stay for the heavy surf to really crash. The whole coastline is made up of heavy, heavy blocks of granite filled with giant crevasses dug out by centuries of pounding surf. When the tides are right you get a symphony of wind, rolling surf and crashing thunder. You immerse yourself in this world with only your thoughts and the sea.
