Make it a Happy New Year

Wow! What a year we had.   We have a brand new president.  We survived the nastiest most contentious campaign ever in my history.  You couldn’t discuss it with anybody or they might befriend in Facebook or worse. A Trump supporter shot his wife because she wouldn’t agree with him so he decided to make America great again.  I just went to a New Years day brunch which had signs up which said “No Politics” and it was written three times.

I don’t know what I will do this year about politics.  It is hard for me to stay away from it because I can’t stop reading about it. I’m not to confident about a government where their is no balance to power.  Things could get out of hand quickly.  I’m not sure about Trump at all.  I saw a press conference the other day where he answered a question that was so disjointed.  Truthfully wouldn’t you like to have a president who reads at a higher level than a fourth grader?

I think we are in for a very bumpy ride. My suggestion is what I am going to do is try to make everyday count.  Laugh as much as you can.  Be nice to people you meet.  Remember we have a lot of people in this country that need your help.  Make it a Happy New Year.
