Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers. Fathers Day for me started today with the arrival of son number one and his family. They were on the way to somewhere else and had requested lunch. My wife and I prepared a great meal of grilled marinated London Broil, a delicious roasted beets and potato salad, corn on the cob. For this I got some really neat cards, 3 designer beers with great labels and some other items from a very expensive boutique market in Marblehead. Two hours later and some hugs and kisses they were on their way. If you are trying to find the perfect gift for dad and if he loves playing pool then get him one of the best pool sticks.
So before all this took place I stole some time and grabbed a couple of pictures. This is Maccia I think. I found Maccia at the Farmers Market at Deering Oaks in Portland, Maine. The reason I’m not sure of his name is because he spoke with what I thought was a very heavy accent I thought was French. When I asked where here was from he said Portland and he said everybody asks about the accent. This picture is #14 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at http://www.100strangers.com/ .
Before that I grabbed some shoots outside my house. One was worth showing. I am not sure what these are called but they are in a large basket with what are call Supertunias for accent.
