Time at Wolfe’s Neck Woods

I took some time off today and decided to unwind at one of my favorite places Wolf’s Neck Woods State Park. It is 245 acres of the most beautiful wooded land that runs between the Harraseeket River and Casco Bay in Falmouth, Maine.

Needing lunch I stopped at a newly reopened Bow Street Market. It is 12 miles north of Portland for me but could easily become a destination food trip for me. I admit to being a foodie and I picked up a roast leg of lamb done to perfection and served in a crusty bread with fresh lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I made to the rocks near the water before diving in. Right now I am looking at a a package of 3 Dancing Deer Baking Company peanut butter brownies.

Ok I know I got a little carried away with the food but if you are ever in the area I highly recommend the scenery and the Bow Street Market.
